Description
This second course is designed to introduce the student to the basic theories of energy purgation, tonification, regulation and cultivation, as well as strengthening the body's protective energy field (Wei Qi) and the techniques used to avoid absorbing Toxic Qi while in the clinic. Other topics covered in this intermediate course will include Shengong (Spirit Skill) Training, Emotional Detoxification therapy and prescriptions, and Clinical Treatments.
Students will be trained in various methods of energetic manipulation which serve to stimulate energy flow in the body's energetic channels (pathways), help regulate nerve function, strengthen the body's immune system, and promote the circulation of Blood and Qi.
In the second semester the Medical Qigong students are led through a progressive series of advanced Shengong meditations and exercises, for developing advanced intuitive diagnostic skills. The students will also learn basic Medical Qigong treatment protocols and begin the initial phase of clinical internship, in which they assist the senior interns.
This second course will concentrate on building a comprehensive foundation of energetic diagnosis with a focus on clinical Qigong therapy and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Emphasis will be placed on the practical clinical applications of Chinese Medical Qigong Therapy.
