V Traditional Chinese Medicine
Differential Diagnosis
Fifth Semester
This fifth semester offers the student an understanding of Chinese Differential
Diagnosis as it pertains to Medical Qigong energetic principles. Course
content will include Introduction To Differential Diagnosis, Diagnosis
according to the Eight Energetic Principles, Diagnosis According to Qi,
Blood, and Body Fluid Dysfunctions, Diagnosis According to the Five Element
Theories, Other Diagnostic Systems and Techniques, Clinical Examination
and the Five Main Methods of Medical Qigong Perceptual Diagnosis.
Objectives:
After completing this semester, students will begin to diagnose using
different approaches to Psycho/Emotional energetic patterns within Traditional
Chinese Medicine and Medical Qigong therapy.
SECTION
VI Clinical Foundations of Medical Qigong Therapy
Sixth Semester
In the sixth semester the emphasis is placed on treating the patient and
establishing a clinical practice based on energetic principles and parameters
of Medical Qigong therapy. Students will be treating patients under supervision.
Course content will include Treating The Patient, Combining Medical Qigong
Therapy with other Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medical Healing
Modalities, Duration of Clinical Treatments, Precautions and Ethical Considerations
for the Qigong Doctor.
Objectives:
After completing this semester, students will gain competence in applying
energetic principles within the Medical Qigong Treatment Room.

VII Advanced Treatment Principles of Medical Qigong Therapy
Seventh Semester
In the seventh semester the emphasis is placed on learning advanced treatment
principles. Students are taught clinical practice based on advanced energetic
principles as well as energetic parameters that govern Medical Qigong
therapy. Course content will include , The Five Methods and Nine Stages
of Treatment, Balancing the Body's Energetic System, Purging, Tonification,
and Regulation Techniques, Clinical Observations of Pathological Energetic
Patterns, and Healing the Patient's Mental/Emotional Traumas.
Objectives:
After completing this semester, students will know how and when to prescribe
Medical Qigong exercises and meditations for Purgation, Tonification and
Regulation for specific physical and mental medical disorders.
SECTION
VIII Advanced Treatment Modalities of Medical Qigong Therapy
Eighth Semester
In the eighth semester the emphasis is placed on treating the patient
with different modalities and techniques of Medical Qigong therapy. Course
content will include Energy Extension and Qi Manipulation Techniques,
Qi Extension, Guidance and Regulation Techniques, The Invisible Needle
Theory and Application, Energetic Point Therapy and Medical Qigong Massage.
Objectives:
After completing this semester, students will gain a greater ability to
transform, emit, lead, vibrate and control Qi. Students will also be taught
when to use Purgation, Tonification and Regulation techniques to balance
the patient's Mental/Emotional energetic system.
SECTION IX Medical Qigong Therapeutic Exercise Prescriptions
Ninth Semester
In the ninth semester the emphasis is placed on when and how to administer Medical Qigong Prescriptions. Course content will include Introduction to Medical Qigong Prescriptions and Regulation Exercises, Specific Organ Self Massage Prescriptions, Healing Sound Therapy and Prescriptions, Medical Qigong Regulation Exercises, and Daoist Qigong Regulation Exercises.
Objectives: After completing this semester, students will know how and when to prescribe Medical Qigong exercises and meditations for Purgation, Tonification and Regulation for specific physical and mental medical disorders.
